My L3

Here's a pic of the rocket I'll be using to attempt L3. I'm now dithering about whether to make the attempt at NYPower or not. I'm feeling just a bit rushed, and more than a little uncertain. I guess I'll wait and see how NERRF goes before I make my final decision.

Just do it!!! I think it would make a nice piece painted burghandy with a little prism
flake.  You think we got room in the St.Albans triangle if we moved North a bit?
I bet I could squeeze another half mile north if I had too.  I think the cows would like it.

OK, OK -- I picked up some primer today, and will squirt it this weekend, weather permitting. Maybe I will make it in time for NYPower.

LOL- Indeed I do. I figure I've been pretty lucky so far  Wink Either that or all my rockets are ugly <shrug>

Besides - I've been itching to use this paint and haven't quite dared spray it. Too many nasties. (It's PPG Deltron 2000 - a top of the line automotive paint that some guy mixed and sold to me real cheap. It's a burgundy red with prismatic flakes - should look pretty cool when it's done. But as my daughter said - take LOTS of pictures before you launch it)

The primer is an epoxy based hi-build in two parts. Should sand up real nice. Then I can let an expert finish the job.
