I also have obtained some tracking gear.  This is stuff I used when hunting with hounds.  I was able to track a ground running dog from Franklin to West Swanton @ 12 miles.  Should be amazing in the air, I don't think we could out launch it.  The transmitter was sealed in a collar.  I dremeled it our last night.  It is about the size of an andes thin mint and weighs 1/2 ounce.  I am thinking it could also be up for use to club members.  Or if they get their own transmitter could borrow the receiver.  The transmitters run about 130 bucks.  The receiver is about 600.  Unfortunately we are still trying to remember where we put it.
